Stewart Warner Performance Electric gauge is equipped with a high-performance air-core movement-the gauge's motor. At the heart of this motor is a glass-reinforced polyester, moisture-resistant bobbin assembly featuring sealed construction and a unique design that accommodates more copper mass than a typical gauge movement. So what does this all mean? It means that there is NO CHANCE that dampening fluid will leak out and compromise performance. It means that torque output is maximized. It means that you are ASSURED of winning performance! TORQUE IS GOOD! Our air-core gauge "motor" is designed to accommodate the maximum number of "turns" of copper wire around the bobbin assembly-more copper mass-which means more torque output and better pointer response (FAST, ACCURATE and STABLE).
